Philosophy of Education

Purpose of Education

At the core of my philosophy of education is the belief that learning should be accessible to all and should be focused on preparing students for the future. Although curriculum is important, but it is the vehicle that allows us as educators to help students build skills and solve. problems so that they can become critical thinkers and incredible communicators. I always encourage students to become lifelong learners through experiential learning activities where students are able to tackle and experience real life skills in order to be better prepare for the future. I advocate for an equitable and safe environment for all in order to help students think beyond the classroom in order to reach their full potential.

Experiential Learning

My ideal school, I believe that experiential learning is the key to a successful education for all students. It is through the organization of events where students learn valuable skills to face various challenges they would encounter in real life. It is through field trips where students are able to see the life in action and experience different culture through observation and gain valuable insight into the real world. I strive to give students a chance to explore the world around them and discover new interest that they may never encounter. strive to create a sense of community for our students and equip them with the skills they need to excel in the real world. Learning is always more effective when students are having fun and enjoying the experience of education.

Building Relationships

It takes a village to raise a child and this is truly an important aspect to keep in mind. As educators, we strive to build meaningful relationship with everyone in the community to help build a successful future for our students. I constantly try to build a positive relationship with parents, priest, community partners, teachers, secretaries, custodial staff, administrators, etc. in order to help our students to be successful. When students see that we are building positive relationships with them and all members of the community, we are able to work together to create a positive change in the future. It is through these connections that the environment is an enjoyable, safe and health space for all and everyone feel that they are included.
