Here are some helpful educational websites that work well in either teaching or just information for teaching. 

Collective Catalogue of FSL Book for Diversity

This gives a variety of FSL books that has a variety of topics regarding diversity.

This is an online French - English dictionary that students can use for their second language acquisition. It also has other languages including Spanish, Italian, Catalan, German, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Portuguese, Romanian, Czech, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Turkish.

Becherelle

This is an online verb conjugation website for French verbs.

Bon Patron

This is a helpful website that corrects written work in French and helps the user to check why they made a mistake in that area.

Dr. Larry Recommends

This is a website that one of my professors at OISE (Dr Larry Swartz) made. He has a list of children books that are very useful to teach tough subjects in the classroom for all ages.

The Canadian Children's Book Centre

This website contains many articles regarding Children's books reviews, interviews with authors, illustrations, issues in children literature and many more. This resource is free..

Prayers of the Day

For all the Catholic Educators out there, this website gives you short daily prayers that you can use in your classroom. If you explore the website there is also information regarding the daily saint, daily fest day and many more.

Wet'suwet'en Supporter Toolkit

This website was created by the Wet'suwet'en People and provide a lot of information regarding the pipeline and what is happening with that community.

National Film Board of Canada

The National Film Board of Canada is an amazing website that provides many different videos and documentaries that can be used in the classroom. There are videos that are free and others are paid. I particularly like the documentary regarding the different First Nations, Inuit and Métis.

Radio France Internationale

This is an amazing website for French teachers to use for authentic French Radio. It also has many listening activities French language acquisition.

Idéllo provides many different multimedia contents for teachers, parents and students to help them learn the French language.

Radio-Canada provides a variety of news around the world in French. This varies from articles to radio shows to video clips.

Musique de la francophonie

This is a great website that gives you a lot of different francophone artists for all types of subjects.
